Designed for small business owners and entrepreneurs, this workshop walks you through the basics of bookkeeping and financial reporting using QuickBooks Online.

You'll learn:

• How to set up your accounts and company settings
• The fundamentals of the Chart of Accounts and how to track income, expenses, assets, and liabilities
• How to generate and understand key financial reports like the Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet
• How to connect your bank accounts and categorize transactions correctly
• The importance of reconciliation and how to do it step-by-step

Whether you're DIY-ing your bookkeeping or just want to speak the same language as your accountant, you'll walk away with a solid foundation—and a whole lot more confidence.

Please include the following in your plans prior to registering:

• Have a Quickbooks Online account already made (you do not need to do any set up, but please have login details)
• Know your usernames and passwords for Quickbooks Online and the online banking platform you use for your business (and bring them with you if you'll forget)
• Download and save a digital copy of your latest bank statement in .csv format
• If you like paper, please bring a PDF copy of your latest bank statement as well
• Have your own laptop and charger that is updated and ready to use with Quickbooks Online

Originally from the UK, Harry now lives in Canmore and works with businesses across the Bow Valley and New Brunswick.
