Businesses must meet at least one of the following criteria to qualify as a microbusiness:

Hold a Canmore Microbusiness License, or
Hold a Town of Banff Business License that falls under its Business License Fee Reduction Program, or
Operate a business with gross annual revenue under $30,000 per calendar year.

The Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to request reasonable documentation confirming your eligibility and will perform random audits on members in this category.

The Microbusiness category is a pilot program for 2026 and may or may not continue depending whether the intended results are met.
