Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce Business Book Club 

We are meeting every two months to debrief and discuss about a powerful book.

The book for March will be “Likeable Badass" by Alison Fragale. Order your copy today at Cafe Books | Likeable Badass. They keep them for our members under “Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce".

Discuss with fellow business owners and find out how they are building their business to be successful in their own way.

There are only 10 spots available to give enough space to all attendees to actively participate in the conversation.

Join us on Wednesday March 12th from 6:15 to 7:45pm at Canmore Public Library.

The meetings are starting with an icebreaker and a roundtable followed by prepared questions or statements to discuss regarding the book and are closed with a final roundtable.

The book club is facilitated by Simon Moreau, a local business owner and member of the BVCC.

Simon discovered Canmore in 2015 where he quickly decided to set roots here and start exploring the mountains either trail running, mountain biking, climbing, skiing or hiking. When not playing in the great outdoors, Simon is guiding small business owners who feels owned by their business and don’t know where their cash is going to take control of their cash flow and to build a business that supports their best life. All this without the stress of not understanding the accounting and financial jargon. His simple and clear method will get you to have a growing and profitable business.

“Likeable Badass" by Alison Fragale

This book can be beneficial for both women and men despite seemingly being written for women.

The book shares strategies to breakdown roadblock to “get a seat at the table” by being perceived as a “likeable badass”: someone who is warm with others while being assertive. It will help you to thread the needle of kindness and competence, to earn more credit for your accomplishments, negotiate better and navigate complex organizational politics without losing the goodwill of your peers.
