In this one-day interactive training session you will get an inside look at how the world of managing small business finances has evolved and what you can do to ensure you're not wasting your precious time.

Tanis Young is the founder of Maven Bookkeeping Inc. where she journeys alongside her clients to bring life to their finances. Her credentials include Certified Professional Bookkeeper (CBP), Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Pro Advisor for both Quickbooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online. Tanis has a passion for education, proudly wearing the "trainer" hat for Quickbooks Online and coaches accountants, bookkeepers and small business owners across the country on the power of cloud accounting.

The BVCC and Malcolm Hotel are following the Government of Alberta Restrictions Exemption Program for this event:
Vaccination: To enter spaces participating in the Restrictions Exemption Program, people ages 12 and older can provide proof of vaccination or documentation of a medical exemption.
* Sept. 20 to Oct. 25: proof of a single dose is considered acceptable as long as the dose was given more than 2 weeks before the time of service.
* After Oct. 25: proof of double vaccination is required.
Proof of Negative Test: To enter spaces participating in the Restrictions Exemption Program, people aged 12 and older can show proof of a negative test result.
* Tests must be privately-paid COVID-19 PCR or rapid tests completed within 72 hours.
* Tests must not be from Alberta Health Services or Alberta Precision Laboratories.
