As a non-partisan business organization, the Bow Valley Chamber of Commerce is committed to creating opportunities for members to engage in constructive dialogue on the issues affecting our business community. Through conversations with decision-makers from across the political spectrum, we aim to ensure the voices and experiences of local businesses are heard.
Join us for a facilitated business roundtable with Alberta NDP Leader Naheed Nenshi. This discussion will bring together local business owners and employers to share their perspectives on the workforce challenges affecting the Bow Valley. The conversation will focus on short-term work visa programs—including the Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA), Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP), and the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) Program—and their impact on local businesses, workforce needs, and the tourism sector.
This is an opportunity for active BVCC members to share their experiences, discuss the realities they are facing, and help inform conversations around policies that affect employers across our region. The session will be facilitated to encourage open, respectful, and business-focused discussion.
Registration is only available to current members in good standing with BVCC.
